Hi Judy

I find this Web 2.0 stuff daunting but you have to just dive in and persist.

I look forward to commenting on your blog when it is up and running.

Regards

Jane

You are a great role model.

When I raised my reservations about blogs in a recent tutorial, Gavin said I should view it as an exercise in exploring the potential of the technology and pushing the boundaries to see what it was capable of doing.

You seem to be in the midst of doing this.

Congratulations - your site is easy to navigate and a nice mixture of content and a natural presentation of the "you" you wish to share with this audience.

Perhaps I should shed my reservations and try plunging into the pool - rather than wriggling my toes uncomfortably in the astringently cold waters of blogging.

I guess it is my elderly brain that is never going to be as skilled at multi-tasking as a Gen Y person. Social networking web 2.0 is fun but time consuming.

In the latin spirit of your blog CARPE DIEM Jane!

Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace (Odes 1.11). It is popularly translated as seize the day, although a more literal translation of "carpe" would be "pluck" (pluck the day), as in the picking or plucking of fruit.

I think you're going ahead in leaps & bounds! *M*

Jane,
What a beautiful image. It reminds me of a still winter's morning. A perfect time for quiet reflection on the day ahead.
